I am a working mother who has a love for education and skills training. My career thus far has been dedicated to improving the life of others in some capacity through dedication to increasing knowledge. I believe I carry on this theme in every aspect of my life. My personal philosophy is that everyone has the ability to meet their potential. I look for the good in the world.

It may look as if I am a nomad, but really it has all been one adventure after another. Each experience has allowed me to develop into a better learner, collaborator, employee, and problem solver. January 2013 – Present

Working with students/consumers with mental health diagnosis, court/community students with special needs, and outlying areas to obtain training assistance, college assistance and job development after high school. Monthly reporting requirements, with constant case noting. Assisted in the development of the transition plan at the student's Individualized Education Plan meeting and Individualized Plan for Employment development.

 

Home Hospital Teacher/Substitute Teacher/Homeless Coordinator/BRONCO Program Specialist, Willits Unified School District, California

April 2011 – December 2013

Create and implement curriculum in all subject areas - home setting for a student with medical needs. Collaborated with district staff and supporting agencies to provide services for students within the district. Data input requirements and case noting. Organizing events and provided needed supports.
